The AlertViz in AWIPS2 is a separate program that is shared among
all components of the visualization environment. There
are two sections to AlertViz; the left displays general messages
and the right displays Intersite Coordination and Smart Initialization
messages in GFE. Each status bar displays the latest status message which can
be one of three types: Regular, Significant, or Urgent. For more
